These little egg cups are thrown on the wheel and once dry enough they are trimmed and painted with either a blue, green or yellow coloured slip. Lines are then scratched into the slip, a technique known as sgraffito. They are then glazed in a beautiful matt transparent white so the iron flecks in the clay show through. Perfect for holding an egg ready for soldiers.

Due to the handmade nature of the products sizes and glaze finishes will vary. They will survive the dishwasher, although hand washing is recommended to keep the glaze as it is. Please see the sizes below as a guide.
